7th - ISC conference – Kyzyl-Kiya

The purpose and scientific sphere of the conference

From the moment of its appearance, the Internet drew attention of people and has become a means of communications that is in the highest demand by the human society. New technological capabilities allow equipping inanimate objects with the Internet. As a rule, it's household appliances which can receive orders from a human via the Internet and perform them due to a pre-programmed algorithm. While the objects with Internet access are rather rare and are treated as technological innovations, they will be very widespread in a few years. Then there will appear an issue on further perspectives of development of Internet technologies .

Imagination helps to think of a conversation between kettle and toaster, which discuss what is to be prepared for the master's breakfast. As of now, communication between inanimate objects is something unimaginable – though, we do not marvel at people who communicate via Bluetooth in a cell phone or talk to the iPad via the “OK Google ” system. Imagination was always a driver of scientific and technical progress, for scholars are dreamers striving to make imagination a reality .

Our conference is to unite people with wide area of thought and developed imagination for joint search for new directions of development of scientific thought in the sphere of information and communication technologies. Would it be possible to create such leading technologies so the Internet would provide communication between inanimate objects without human participation, or are these only unreal fantasy? In case of realization of such possibility, the issue of provision of information security appears, as personal data of owners of Internet-connect ed objects might be threatened .

The answers to these and other related questions are to be found at the conference, which aims at creating the conditions for highly efficient scientific discussion on perspectives of development of Internet-technol ogies and possibilities of using them as a means of communication between inanimate objects without human participation .

The conference's official language: English .
