10th - ISC conference – Czech

Form: interactive, “anchor”

The interactive form of the conference allows uniting the scholars from several Russian and foreign cities who are to present the reports via the Internet connection to the interactive platforms of other universities, united into one, which allows making the conference multi-platform. According to the conference, the plenary session and all section presentations are formed from the reports of the scholars from different cities and countries. The interactive platform allows organizing more than ten interactive platforms in different cities and countries, increasing the coverage of the spokespersons, audience, and the volume of discussion manifold. Such indicators and the new form of the conference allow forming the large scale of the scientific event and increasing its value for the scientific Russian and foreign world.

Technical equipment of the Interactive platform (interactive conference hall).

Audience (university employees, etc.), the responsible person, technical equipment. The connection requires a laptop or desktop (with Mozilla Firefox browser), the Internet connection with at least 8Мbit/s speed, headset/microphone), projector, and screen. The dynamics enable sound translation; laptop, projector, and screen enable translation of an image; microphone enables discussion with other interactive platforms. A video camera allows other participants see all platforms simultaneously.

The thematic anchor conference is built around the five key “anchor” reports. They authors have unlimited time for their presentations. The conference form also supposes presentation of reports that are related to the main topic of the conference. The time for these is limited.

The advantages of the anchor conference are as follows:

    • the scholars with “anchor” reports get full discussion of their topics;

    • discussion of “anchor” reports is more efficient;

    • the conference has no “empty talk”;

    • the conference is built around one topic, so there’s no mixing of multiple themes;

    • concentration around the key topics allows the participants to elaborate the theme fully and thoroughly.

The conference organizing committee reserves the right to appoint the anchor reports. The number of the review reports is not limited, with the applications being accepted and confirmed by the organizing committee.

The best conference papers will be published in IJTGM (International Journal of Trade and Global Markets) and IJMEF (International Journal of Monetary Economics and Finance) (Inderscience Publishers, Switzerland)

The purpose and scientific sphere of the conference

Modern economy can hardly be called a source of pleasure. Under the negative influence of crises in various spheres of economic activities, economy has transformed into a battlefield on which each economic subject strives for maximization of their profit and achievement of “vested interests”, but instead of pleasure from private success and common well-being this leads to new needs and increases disappointment in limitation of possibilities and complications in reaching new heights.

Capitalism has lost the initial sense of the economic system in which well-being is accessible not only at the public but also at the private levels, and everyone can become happy – instead, a worse scenario came to life, which was predicted by its founders and turned it into “war against everyone”.

Seeking high profits, entrepreneurs forget about their role of creators of goods and capitalize from their employees and clients; while the state has transformed from the protector of public interests into a means of achieving the personal goals of public officers, and the consumers, zombie by marketing, have become involved in the endless satisfaction of their limitless needs. Such approach to economy, within which satisfaction of needs becomes a goal in itself, looks like survival, not pleasure.

This conference will help reconsider the foundations of the modern economy and develop a new concept of economy which will allow receiving pleasure from it – “economy of pleasure”. Within its scope, well-being of society and each separate human is treated not as a set of goods but as joy and happiness from their receipt and use. The rules of the game are set not by the current profit but by striving to make this world better. Despite the crises, everyone can receive pleasure from economic activities.

We call for everyone with a wish and ideas on the formation of a new philosophical basis, theoretical explanation of the sense of economy of pleasures, and realization of the task of receiving pleasure from economy to participate in the international conference “Economics of Pleasure: a Science of Enjoying Economic Activities”.

The conference's official language: English.
